Audio Slideshow from Nytimes about Kesey's Mexico

Did you love Kesey as much as me when you were in high school/college?

Honestly, no. One "Practice of Literary Criticism" class into my college life, a professor crammed Kesey down my throat at the same time that I discovered "Mad Love". Kesey never stood a chance.

All I can say is that the book "one Flew Over the Cuckoo's Nest" has some of the most awe inspiring writing in it. Truly one of the most audacious pieces of American literature from the previous century.

Should be on the shelf next to Vonnegut, Kerouac, Bukowski, T.S. get my drift

Sometimes A Great Notion is one of my favorite books ... he's definitely up there in my list of all-time favorite authors. I never started reading him until I moved to Chicago.
